Should You Repair Or Replace Older HVAC Components?

How Old Is Your System?

On average, the life expectancy for your homes air conditioners and heat pumps is around 10 to 12 years. Furnaces are generally a little longer with about 15 to 20 years worth of effective life.

Check the age of your equipment. If it falls within the age ranges above, repairs are going to cost more and you can start to be on the lookout for trouble.
